1. The number of residential building permits issued in New Zealand fell more than 8% m/m in January. Detached house approvals are the lowest in more than a decade.

6. Australian dwelling prices rose +0.6% over February according to CoreLogic data (and a bit lower than that post seasonal adjustment).
7. The number of visas granted in January to study in Australia didn’t change much from prior months but is back around pre-COVID levels.
8. Student visa grant rates have fallen as the Australian Government targets some categories of international students to rein in net immigration
