1. Australia’s flash composite PMI for July rose to 52.6 from 50.4 in June. Survey responses are collected in the second half of the month. We wouldn’t be surprised to see the PMI revised lower in the final reading.
2. The pick-up in Australia’s composite PMI and reported business conditions in July is unlikely to have factored in the sharp rise in oil prices.
