1. The final reading for Australia’s April composite PMI was revised up modestly to 50.4.
2. The ABS’ nominal household spending indicator (HSI) rose +1.6% m/m and +6.3% y/y in March. Nominal spending in Q1 grew +1.0% q/q.
Excluding transport-related spending, the HSI rose +0.9% m/m in March and +0.8% q/q in Q1 in nominal terms.
