1. The number of Jobseeker benefit recipients in Australia picked up a little in November but this typically lags the official unemployment statistics (including due to wait times and other restrictions to receive benefits).
2. New Zealand’s manufacturing PMI rose slightly to 51.4 in November. The new orders component fell but has been on a rising trend over the past 18 months.
