1. The number of new job ads on SEEK in Australia rose +1.8% m/m in April. This is not surprising as these data are included in the Internet Vacancy Index published yesterday which also rose in April.
New job advertising remained relatively weakest in NSW, Victoria and the ACT.
2. The ratio of job applicants to job ads also remained relatively high in NSW, Victoria and the ACT.
