1. The ABS’ Household Spending Indicator (HSI) rose +0.2% m/m in February following a solid +0.5% m/m rise in January.

The HSI covers a little under two-thirds of total household consumption and is increasingly being used by the ABS as a data source for compiling consumption in the national accounts (see here).

2. Daily job ads data from Indeed through to late March points to a decline in the monthly ANZ-Indeed job ads series in March.
