1. Unsurprisingly, Aussie household mortgage offset account balances rose by more than usual in Q3 as tax cuts inflated after-tax take-home pay. The increase in Q3 was ~$5b more than a year earlier.

2. The number of new job ads on SEEK in Australia fell 1% m/m in November following a 3% m/m fall in October. (These data are included in the broader internet vacancy index published yesterday for November by Jobs & Skills Australia.)
